Gas module GE E-sCAiO
The GE CARESCAPE E-sCAiO module is an advanced device used for monitoring respiratory gases in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. It allows simultaneous measurement of parameters such as CO₂, O₂, N₂O levels, anesthetic concentrations, as well as additional indicators like minute ventilation (MV), airway pressure, CO₂ production, and O₂ consumption.
Thanks to its advanced sensors, this module enables accurate real-time monitoring of patients' respiratory parameters, which is essential for optimizing care in operating rooms and intensive care units. The GE E-sCAiO module is compatible with CARESCAPE monitors like the B450 and B650 and can be integrated into GE patient monitoring systems
- Measurement range for CO₂: 0–15 vol%, with an accuracy of ±0.2 vol%.
- Measurement range for oxygen (O₂): 0–100 vol%, with an accuracy of ±1 vol%.
- Analysis of anesthetic gases, including identification and measurement of sevoflurane, desflurane, isoflurane, and halothane.
- Respiratory function measurement, including lung spirometry, volume-flow curves, and pressure-volume curves.
- An automatic compensation system for environmental conditions (pressure, temperature) and interference effects from other gases (e.g., water, ethanol).
